You read that right, we are ON THE BALL about ON THE BALL. Well, there isn’t really much ball to be on with this game. The game talk is light since this game can be beaten very quickly with minimal effort. So we talk about ALL OF THAT but we also dig in and have a heart to heart about the show and where we need to go next. If you’re a long time supporter we think you’ll enjoy this one but if you’re new – come back in a few years. It can be some fun time warp game to see where our future ended up. I guess. I’m not your supervisor or anything. I just request you come check us out, please and think you!
Do you like Tetris? Of course. Do you like the massive amounts of Tetris adjacent puzzle games? No? What if it is endorsed by Alexey Pajitnov? Maybe? Yeah, that’s how we feel. So this week the Randomizer has us play and discuss the snakely Tetris adjacent puzzle game, WildSnake. We also talk theme parks, rides, sign museums, take a quiz and really get in there deep with some snakes. Enjoy!
It’s raining bubbles! This week we’re talking about the Capcom shooter-puzzler for the SNES, Super Buster Bros. This game was requested by Sandwich Pope Phil, so we decided to invite him on to defend his suggestion. We open a package from Shadowrunner Kody. We take THREE quizzes! Continue reading →
Buckle up. This is probably the most NSFW episode of TADPOG yet. We decided to record (we’re calling it here) The Least Shared Episode of TADPOG Ever in order to get you worked up for Valentine’s Day. Soul Sister Yarn Sorceress Chandra and Rhythm Master Paul join us to talk about the dating sim puzzler, HuniePop.
It’s Monday, TADPOG Nation. We aren’t quite crossing one off the Eventually list but this is a game that was given to us by Lord Matt Barger out of his fat fat package a few years ago and we were meaning to get around to it…eventually. So this week we’re doing the Atlus Puzzle, Adventure, Dating and Horror game – Catherine. We actually talk about some sad but appropriate intro stories, what organs we are missing (and even set a new Patron goal) and what we thought about Catherine. We liked this one. We hope you do too.
Fact: Mario got his medical degree from an online university in Moscow.
Today on Original Flavor Wednesday, we sit down with Jon Turley (of NBA Jam fame) and talk about Tetris & Dr. Mario, IGN’s 27th ranked Super Nintendo game. It’s got Tetris. It’s got Dr. Mario. Y’know just Tetris and Dr. Mario. Take the Tetris, take the Dr. Mario and have a good time.
On this Original Flavor Wednesday we’re talking about IGN’s 29th ranked Super Nintendo game, Wario’s Woods. Spoilers: we didn’t like it. At all. So, if you grew up loving this game…prepare to be very upset with us. To help bear the burden with us, two veteran guest hosts join us — recent velociraptor-birth-attack survivor, Megs246 (of Kirby’s Avalanche fame) and Josh Nance (of Uniracers fame). Jon Turley (of NBA James Fame) makes a brief cameo.
It’s a momentous Original Flavor Wednesday episode of TADPOG. There’s some discussion of the Blizzard classic, The Lost Vikings (IGN’s #30 ranked game). But more importantly, there’s a big velociraptor hospital announcement, and Tyler creates the next big reoccurring Saturday Night Live character (trademark pending). Additionally, David the Gnome is discussed lightly. Gnome-cast to follow in the next few weeks.
