Krusty’s Super Fun House has finally made it’s way to the TADPOG shores. Did it come courtesy of the Randomizer? No, we totally forgot to do that. What would have been a good game to fit into our Sea of Stars playing? This one. Tyler and Ian have some history with this game, while Dave does not. Where does this fit in the pantheon of all The Simpsons games? We do a pretty deep dive to find out. We talk some television, make a long draft, talk a lot about Mortal Kombat, buying some Famicom games and more. So please, come sit awhile and listen to us eventually talk about Krusty’s Super Fun House.
Kirby’s Avalanche? Yes, Kirby’s Avalanche. Didn’t we do this one? Yes, almost 10 years ago. But it was subject to a greater dispel spell and is no longer available, but anything lost from IGN’s Top 100 SNES games list, we will always re-record. It just happened to drop on the Switch SNES Online service so it was a pretty opportune time to do it again. Just for the occasion, we reunite TADPOG IT with a rare appearance by Captain Gun Nerd Jon Turley. We bring it hard with a chip draft, some drink talk, some Star Wars talk, and a deep dive into the re-skin of Puyo Puyo that Kirby’s Avalanche really is – so come sit awhile and listen!
Tetris 2. Did you know there was a Tetris 2? If you’re like use and didn’t there may be a pretty good reason for that. Also, this episode goes from damp to danger zone over the course of an hour and a half. We recorded this episode on the night of the tornado that destroyed part of our area. We didn’t take it too seriously until we had to take it seriously so this episode goes from chuckles, to Tetris 2 to..well…running out of the Hollanddeck as quickly as possible. So please tune in for a bit of a crazy episode.
You read that right, we are ON THE BALL about ON THE BALL. Well, there isn’t really much ball to be on with this game. The game talk is light since this game can be beaten very quickly with minimal effort. So we talk about ALL OF THAT but we also dig in and have a heart to heart about the show and where we need to go next. If you’re a long time supporter we think you’ll enjoy this one but if you’re new – come back in a few years. It can be some fun time warp game to see where our future ended up. I guess. I’m not your supervisor or anything. I just request you come check us out, please and think you!
Do you like Tetris? Of course. Do you like the massive amounts of Tetris adjacent puzzle games? No? What if it is endorsed by Alexey Pajitnov? Maybe? Yeah, that’s how we feel. So this week the Randomizer has us play and discuss the snakely Tetris adjacent puzzle game, WildSnake. We also talk theme parks, rides, sign museums, take a quiz and really get in there deep with some snakes. Enjoy!
It’s raining bubbles! This week we’re talking about the Capcom shooter-puzzler for the SNES, Super Buster Bros. This game was requested by Sandwich Pope Phil, so we decided to invite him on to defend his suggestion. We open a package from Shadowrunner Kody. We take THREE quizzes! Continue reading →
Buckle up. This is probably the most NSFW episode of TADPOG yet. We decided to record (we’re calling it here) The Least Shared Episode of TADPOG Ever in order to get you worked up for Valentine’s Day. Soul Sister Yarn Sorceress Chandra and Rhythm Master Paul join us to talk about the dating sim puzzler, HuniePop.
It’s Monday, TADPOG Nation. We aren’t quite crossing one off the Eventually list but this is a game that was given to us by Lord Matt Barger out of his fat fat package a few years ago and we were meaning to get around to it…eventually. So this week we’re doing the Atlus Puzzle, Adventure, Dating and Horror game – Catherine. We actually talk about some sad but appropriate intro stories, what organs we are missing (and even set a new Patron goal) and what we thought about Catherine. We liked this one. We hope you do too.
