Krusty’s Super Fun House has finally made it’s way to the TADPOG shores. Did it come courtesy of the Randomizer? No, we totally forgot to do that. What would have been a good game to fit into our Sea of Stars playing? This one. Tyler and Ian have some history with this game, while Dave does not. Where does this fit in the pantheon of all The Simpsons games? We do a pretty deep dive to find out. We talk some television, make a long draft, talk a lot about Mortal Kombat, buying some Famicom games and more. So please, come sit awhile and listen to us eventually talk about Krusty’s Super Fun House.
Nosferatu makes it’s ghoulish, nightmarish, lycanthropic, vampiric, mummified, and downright fiendish debut on our show. Was it worth the work that Tyler’s brother, Ryan, had to endure to get his copy? Did it live up to all the time Dave and Ian put into playing it? The sheer rage Tyler experienced trying to punch through the castle’s many monster, was that a cost worth paying? Come see, we take a pretty deep dive into Nosferatu. ALL HAIL THE RANDOMIZER! OR NOT SO MUCH HAIL THE RANDOMIZER!
Tetris 2. Did you know there was a Tetris 2? If you’re like use and didn’t there may be a pretty good reason for that. Also, this episode goes from damp to danger zone over the course of an hour and a half. We recorded this episode on the night of the tornado that destroyed part of our area. We didn’t take it too seriously until we had to take it seriously so this episode goes from chuckles, to Tetris 2 to..well…running out of the Hollanddeck as quickly as possible. So please tune in for a bit of a crazy episode.
Kabluey / Bombuzal, whatever you want to call it. This game is a port of a PC game make in the late eighties, and wouldn’t you guess it – the SNES one is the worst of the lot! So we do talk about it but first we talk a lot of Avatar: The Last Airbender because we can. Ian talks some Commodore 64. We bring back “What have you been playing?” Because this game is so short and so lacking, this episode has a lot of conversation. If you like that sort of thing, we think this episode will absolutely be for you – if not, just download it and be back next week, please and thank you!
Do you like Tetris? Of course. Do you like the massive amounts of Tetris adjacent puzzle games? No? What if it is endorsed by Alexey Pajitnov? Maybe? Yeah, that’s how we feel. So this week the Randomizer has us play and discuss the snakely Tetris adjacent puzzle game, WildSnake. We also talk theme parks, rides, sign museums, take a quiz and really get in there deep with some snakes. Enjoy!
We’re talking about Digital Trends’ 13th-ranked best Sega Genesis game, Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine. We eat some salsa courtesy of Exalted Lord Mike of Perdue, we talk about haunted houses for a minute, we talk about dark cartoons for kids, and…there’s a bean quiz!
Hey! It’s Original Flavor Wednesday! So that means we are doing Dorkly’s 18th ranked N64 game – Yoshi’s Story. In accordance with her contract to replace Burger Bottom Jon Turley we have pulled Nicole Nance in to help us talk about this game. There’s a regretful recall, things about mowing your yard and the great story about Nicole and Josh’s first date. Also plenty of Yoshi talk – both good and bad. We also go off the rails for the last 15 minutes or so pretty hard. Enjoy!
We’ve teased it for a few weeks now, TADPOG Nation, and now we deliver a Jon Turley special request in the form of Super Monkey Ball 2. This episode has lots of talk about crazy monkey games, zoo stories, party sports and the debut of the Germany story. We take some calls. We do some more Wed, Bed, Behead. We hope you enjoy this immensely or maybe just a little bit.
