Ep. 624 – Kabluey / Bombuzal (SNES)

Kabluey / Bombuzal, whatever you want to call it. This game is a port of a PC game make in the late eighties, and wouldn’t you guess it – the SNES one is the worst of the lot! So we do talk about it but first we talk a lot of Avatar: The Last Airbender because we can. Ian talks some Commodore 64. We bring back “What have you been playing?” Because this game is so short and so lacking, this episode has a lot of conversation. If you like that sort of thing, we think this episode will absolutely be for you – if not, just download it and be back next week, please and thank you!

Ep. 621 – Super Adventure Island II

Wizened Sage Ian returns to the podcast to guest host much like Master Higgins returns to Super Adventure Island II! Things are a little different in the second Adventure Island on the SNES, which is appropriately named Super Adventure Island II. This game is a little bit of a departure from the series (we’ll get into that in this episode), and it’s very similar to another classic retro game (we’ll get into that too).
