Ep. 744 – Dirty Harry

Dirty Harry asks us just how lucky we feeling playing his NES game this week on TADPOG. This week may not get us any closer to finishing our SNES list but it’s a good continuation of our “R Rated Moves turned into video games” series. Yes, it’s another series. We love them. Get used to it. Everything is a series. But before we do a deep dive into the first Dirty Harry movie and the NES game – we talk Overwatch 2. Ian has a particularly good match. We briefly visit The Horror Hole, discuss the latest offerings of Eddie Murphy, hit up The Dark Tower, and do a little Christmas themed draft. So please, come get dirty with us. Dirty Harry. If you feel lucky. Punk.

Ep. 739 – Judge Dredd

Judge Dredd has come to conclude our Stallonesgiving series in style. We have now all seen Judge Dredd and give our very detailed feelings on both the movie and the game. We also talk about the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie, we take a quick dip into “Anime I?” territory, look at Warthunder, Treehouse of Horror, and some other horror hole related things. So, if you love the movie talk along with the game talk, especially if it Sylvester Stallone flavored, well, we have quite the episode for you in Judge Dredd. Come sit awhile and listen!

Ep. 736 – Demolition Man

Demolition Man explodes onto TADPOG in our SNES Stallone Series. We keep our movie game standard and watch the movie so we can discuss it and compare it to the game, so if you love Demolition Man the movie, this is the episode for you. Even more so if you love the reunions of TADPOG I.T. since Jon Turley returns to the show! Dave and Ian are longtime fans of the movie and Tyler watches it for the first time though a modern day lens. There is a very appropriate draft. And plenty of game talk. Lots of movie and game talk, some please come sit awhile and listen to all things Demolition Man!

Ep. 712 – Pinocchio

Pinocchio

Pinocchio, right? Everyone loved Aladdin, Goof Troop, Mickey’s Magical Quest – surely Pinocchio is right up there too? You did know there was a Pinocchio game, didn’t you? Since it came out at the tail end of the SNES’ lifespan. Well, if you’re in that slim minority – don’t you worry. We break down all the ins and outs of this one and maybe do a draft along the way. We talk some anime, some horror, some television, but we really do go through this game and have plenty to say about it,

Ep. 703 – Izzy’s Quest for the Olympic Rings

“Izzy’s Quest for the Olympic Rings”, said the Randomizer, cold and indifferent as always. “Would you punish us so harshly for playing Dungeons & Dragons sometimes?” Ian snarked. The Randomized smiled it’s blackened grin in return. “Go and embrace the controversial torch mascot from the 1996 games in Atlanta, my friends. May its slippery and everchanging form be of comfort to you all on your journey.”

Yep, it’s that sort of game. But we get to talk anime, movies, and discuss what our last meals would be, at least. Come sit awhile and listen, Derek. To this, our dark episode of Izzy’s Quest for the Olympic Rings.

Ep. 689 – Tom and Jerry

Tom and Jerry SNES

Tom and Jerry. You know, you’ve seen the cartoon. Sometimes Tom looks like a cat, other times he is more like a cat person. Sometimes Tom and Jerry hate each other, sometimes they are best friends. They’re a duo that has endured since 1940. But how well do they translate to the SNES? Courtesy of The Randomizer, we find out. So please come check out a cartoon draft, the latest edition of Ian’s Horror Hole, a deep review of Sam’s Club pizza, and a reveal to who absolutely loves The Croods. Sit awhile and listen!

Ep. 686 – The Wizard of Oz

The Wizard of Oz for the SNES continues our parade of hard to play games. Does this deserve to be one those iconically horrible games ranking up there with Shaq Fu, Bebe’s Kids, Lester the Unlikely, Bill Laimbeer’s Combat Basketball, and Pit Fighter? We might tell you. Or we might even debate that amongst ourselves. But before that, we have to do a soda draft. Followed up by some horror chat, some great restaurants in the L.A. area where Dave got to visit, and Dane’s quiz returns with a vengeance. Come sit awhile and listen to use review the validity of the hot garbage label on The Wizard of Oz.

Ep. 685 – Terminator 2: Judgment Day & T2: The Arcade Game

The Randomizer served some BAD, emphasis on that syllable, to the bone games in Terminator 2: Judgment Day and T2: The Arcade game to us this week. Ian takes Tyler’s weathered old mantle as the Cloud of Negativity when it comes to there two LJN classics. So come listen to us double on the Terminator games, we do another draft (hey, we like these a lot), talking some horror movies, talk some Overwatch 2, and get a gander at Dave’s Steam Deck. Come sit awhile and listen to us really bemoan Terminator 2: Judgment Day & T2: The Arcade Game!
