Ep. 741 – RoboCop Versus The Terminator

RoboCop Versus The Terminator robotically walks into way onto TADPOG shores. This sorta counts as an Arnold tangential movie, right? The streak continues? We make a strong come back with “Anime I?” since Ian has a very strong recommendation. We talk some about Thanksgiving (it was Thanksgiving Eve when we recorded this, after all), discuss what we’ve been playing then take up a Thanksgiving Foods draft, we honestly can’t recall if we have done that one before or not, before taking a deep dive into RoboCop Versus The Terminator. We have some feelings about this one, so please, sit awhile and listen!

Ep. 712 – Pinocchio

Pinocchio

Pinocchio, right? Everyone loved Aladdin, Goof Troop, Mickey’s Magical Quest – surely Pinocchio is right up there too? You did know there was a Pinocchio game, didn’t you? Since it came out at the tail end of the SNES’ lifespan. Well, if you’re in that slim minority – don’t you worry. We break down all the ins and outs of this one and maybe do a draft along the way. We talk some anime, some horror, some television, but we really do go through this game and have plenty to say about it,

Ep. 602 – The Jungle Book

The Jungle Book

The Jungle Book has a LOT of iterations. Poems, books, movies, songs, live action movies, animated movies….and a Super Nintendo game. A 90s Disney platformer that wasn’t on IGN’s Top 100? Whatever could that mean about its quality? We get to that after we really drill down into the history of how many versions of it are out there. We also talk middle school stories and what was important to us in elementary school. Come hear all about our bear necessities.

Ep. 473 – Color A Dinosaur

Color A Dinosaur

Color a dinosaur? Well, are you expecting much this week? Neither are we. For this episode we are going to tackle the NES game “Color a Dinosaur” released in…1993. Hmm. We do talk about all the ins and outs of this “entertainment video game” where you color something considered a dinosaur. But there are plenty of tangents and even a call or two. Just try it! You might like it.

Ep. 225 – M.C. Kids

M.C. Kids

While not officially on our Eventually List, Rhythm Master Paul Corn suggested that we play the infamous advergame M.C. Kids for the Nintendo Entertainment System. So we did that. We went on a magical fast food adventure with Mick and Mack through McDonaldland and then made a very mundane journey back to record this episode with The Nances, TADPOG’s Illustrious Fabulous Couple.
