Ep. 592 – Run Saber

What do game do we want? HADES! When do we want it? NOW! What did we end up playing? RUN SABER! How was it? …surprising?

This week the Randomizer threw up a total mystery in Run Saber. We may have talked off mic about Hades for an hour before we started but we had a pretty good deep dive into Run Saber, it’s not at all what we expected. So join us as we talk a little Hades, a lot Run Saber and a pretty solid dramatic reading of the crazy story behind this game.

Ep. 591 – X-Men 2: Clone Wars

The Randomizer tried to throw us X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse which we have already done an episode on, so we countered with a game we were actually interested in: X-Men 2: Clone Wars for the Sega Genesis. IT’S OUR 8th ANNIVERSARY! So we are joined by Brandon of Axelay fame, and his girlfriend Cheryl of Brandon fame, to celebrate. This was a planned thing and not by total coincidence. So gather around and listen to traveling tales, stories of the past, a great package, some X-Men talk, and much more!

We do actually have some friends that are familiar with it so we bring on Sandwich Pope Phil Hawkins and a special letter appearance by Pinball Archmage Chris Edler! Come hear us talk about vasectomies, rogue-likes, Hades, better threats to get your child to behave than Santa Claus, and we do the deepest dive possible into this terrible terrible game.
