Ep. 664 – The Randomizer x Wikipedia

The Randomizer x Wikipedia is what we have to offer today. With the team still on the mend post COVID, we wanted to mix it up a bit and re-summon the Ol’ Randomizer but put it into something different than an SNES. This time we conjured the dark chaotic god of our own making and funneled it into Wikipedia. The result is a bizarre “Better know a host” quiz that goes all over the board. So we are remote, so things may sound a little different than usual again. We had a little bit of game talk, a lot of quiz, and just general hang-out. We hope you enjoy our little departure before we back to the standard stuff.

#4 The Arby’s Gabagool vs. The World – Session Eight (A D&D Actual Play), we are hoping you’ve seen enough Sopranos and maybe The Office to understand the importance of Gabagool. We know you understand the importance of Arby’s. We hope you enjoy the further adventures of the band. Benji can’t find anything wrong in his apartment. Kenny tells Lem what Earl told him about Lem’s family. Lem returns home to find things quite different than when he left them. Liz returns to her mother’s house to quite a brutal surprise. Jill comes out to party with the band and totally ends up shining a light on everything. Things end up getting pretty ghostly as The Irvin Cobb Hotel. We get a brief glimpse of the mysterious guest host and a retired bear. Please, come sit awhile and listen!

D&D Actual Play Liz Lemonion Frog vs. The World! The band is free of Jzadirune and now heads straight for their battle with Scandinavian Man! First they have to suit up – this includes some new equipment, the fanciest boy suit ever, and some choice vegan food. Not only does the band have their greatest challenge yet in Scandinavian Man, but their manager is also the Master of the Menagerie of Menacing Managers (and the polar opposite of Link). 2 Drunk 2 Drive My Car vs. The World! Welcome back to the final session of the adventure into Jzadirune. We promise. The band gets to experience the full gamut of emotions in this one. A Fistful of Mayonnaise vs. The World! Any idea what that means? You probably think you do but it has more to do with alchemy that anything with the human body, we promise. The players have found their first key to subspace Jzadirune and explore more and more and they unlock the secrets hidden in their minds. Liz has a viewing of a very uncomfortable play. Benji contracts a very serious capitalistic magical jacketing disease. A large purple royal octopus introduces itself to the party. Lem finds the most special Quiznos. Benji inherits the mantle of Andre the Giant. Kenny wields the Buster Sword. All sorts of things happen that sound strange here but will make perfect sense as you follow the band through their first real trial as friends and a true band.

The Pig Holes vs. The World! Now how do you think the gang came up with that one? In this episode The Pig Holes meet a new chipper friend, descend into Jzadirune, and really get to know each other (not exactly by choice). They get some cryptic messages from some people in the past. Kenny gets person with a 90s robot. They find some killer jackets. Lem meets someone very special. Kenny bears down and confronts a hard memory of growing up. The gang does some real dungeon delving into the ominous castle and we hope you enjoy the adventure!
