King of Dragons! The Randomizer won’t let you down, even when COVID and work related events will! We had to postpone the newest episode of The Scott Pilgrim game so we fell back on what the Randomizer chose after Tecmo Super Bowl – King of Dragons. It’s more medieval madness in the vein as Knights of the Round and Golden Axe. We do a deep dive as we all actually played this game together (Thank you, Nintendo Switch Online). But before that we talk about Death Note, how not to run a pizza place, and we take a fun psychological quiz – make sure to grab a pencil and paper so you can play along, it’s fun. Stop rolling your eyes, Dane. It’s fun. You’ll see.
The Randomizer x Wikipedia is what we have to offer today. With the team still on the mend post COVID, we wanted to mix it up a bit and re-summon the Ol’ Randomizer but put it into something different than an SNES. This time we conjured the dark chaotic god of our own making and funneled it into Wikipedia. The result is a bizarre “Better know a host” quiz that goes all over the board. So we are remote, so things may sound a little different than usual again. We had a little bit of game talk, a lot of quiz, and just general hang-out. We hope you enjoy our little departure before we back to the standard stuff.
A 12 ft. Bea Arthur Doodoo Piñata, yes – a 12 ft. Bea Arthur Doodoo Piñata. There was a big snow storm, a wreck, some illness, a 12 ft. Bea Arthur Doodoo Piñata, multiple accidents, work stress, and life stress that all came together for us have to push back the planned episode and instead we have a good little therapy session (along with a few drinks) and talk about what happened during the week, the loss and the life of Betty White, the loss of Bob Saget, we take a quiz and REALLY get off the rails with some calls. But If you want to get to know Tyler, Dave, Ian, and Jon a little bit better without the games – this is one to check out.
Rhythm Master Paul “Walking Simpsons Encyclopedia” Corn and Soul Sister Yarn Sorceress join us to talk about The Simpsons Arcade game by Konami. We kinda talk about the game but we mainly talk about The Simpsons in general…and gooders.
This is where Jon Turley helps us bring TADPOG from yeah to yes. We kind of talk about Darkwing Duck for the NES. What we really do is argue about Harrison Ford, Dave brings shame to his family by catastrophically failing a quiz about CAPCOM, and Tyler filibusters Jon.
On this episode, TADPOG’s Sweethearts, Josh and Nicole return to help us wrap up The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. Dave is sick and miserable, there’s a creepypasta reading by Nicole, and TWO quizzes.
Well guys, we made it. We’re finally going to talk about the Internet’s favorite game of all time, Dorkly’s 10th-ranked Nintendo 64 game, Banjo-Kazooie. Nicole, our resident N64 expert and lover of all things Banjo-Kazooie lends us a much-needed hand. There might even be a Bird or Bear Quiz. Maybe.
Hey! We have good news, after a multi year hiatus Tyler Dunigan has returned to us just in time to talk about Dorkly’s 13th ranked N64 game, Mario Party. Oh, Josh Nance also joins us and we find out more about his dark and secretive past. This handsome boycast talks all about baked goods, what boys do when they gather together for sleep overs, Ultima Online, all sorts of things with a little Mario Party sprinkled in just to maintain the tenuous integrity of Original Flavor Wednesday.
