Ep. 734 – Virtual Bart

Virtual Bart. That’s right, Bart is back in virtual form! Did you know Bart’s Nightmare had a sequel? We didn’t! So join us for a deep dive into all the little mini games that comprise this game. But before that, we discuss the new Frasier and Ashoka. The we hit of Ian’s Horror Hole and have a little “Anime I?” before we do a very thematic draft and roll into our real feelings about this game as part of our SNES Simpsons Saga. So please sit awhile and listen to some straight white guys take a very deep dive on an early 90s Simpsons game!

Bart’s Nightmare has arrived on TADPOG shores, officially cementing our TADPOG Simpson Series where will cover all the SNES Simpsons games, back to back to back to back. To Tyler’s amusement, we dive into Bart’s Nightmare this week. We update you our Sea of Stars progress. Dave gets back into Phasmophobia. Ian loves The Exorcist. Tyler had stove drama. There is a food related draft. We end up jumping into the homework page of insanity that is this game. So please join us for a conversation on Bart’s Nightmare.

Ep. 7312 – Krusty’s Super Fun House

Krusty’s Super Fun House has finally made it’s way to the TADPOG shores. Did it come courtesy of the Randomizer? No, we totally forgot to do that. What would have been a good game to fit into our Sea of Stars playing? This one. Tyler and Ian have some history with this game, while Dave does not. Where does this fit in the pantheon of all The Simpsons games? We do a pretty deep dive to find out. We talk some television, make a long draft, talk a lot about Mortal Kombat, buying some Famicom games and more. So please, come sit awhile and listen to us eventually talk about Krusty’s Super Fun House.

Ep. 731 – One Calls

One Calls! That’s right. We take exactly 1 call. Is it particularly long and cucumbersome (I realize) call? Does it take us deep into our souls and yield the fruit of beautiful revealing conversation? Or do we go really long on a draft we enjoyed and only had time to take a single call? You should listen and find out. We may technically take 2 calls but that first call is something totally different. How is it different? Why is it different? You’ll have to sit awhile and listen to find out. One Calls.

Ep. 730 – Sea of Stars

Sea of Stars has finally arrived! It hasn’t been out long and we have had several requests already to talk about it so here we are! Don’t worry, this one is spoiler free. All three of us took the dive into this game and discuss it’s mechanics and layout in this episode, we wanted it to be spoiler free so nothing about the story is brought up – if you haven’t played yet, feel free to listen! We do something a little bit different that our normal draft, we go back into Ian’s Horror Hole, the latest anime is brought up and then we finish it all up with some Sea of Stars content. There may be more, but we definitely all want to play more! So please, sit awhile and listen.

Ep. 729 – Frantic Flea

Frantic Flea! We’re back to The Randomizer this week and ohhhhh man did it serve us one up. Have you had a deep yearning for a flea protagonist, everyone’s favorite creature? This may just be the game for you, and only you, we imagine there is only one of you. We hit the ground running with a food-based draft, we visit “Ian’s Horror Hole”, talk about some super hero movies, we hit some “Animay I?” and finally do more of deep dive into Frantic Flea that anyone was expected. So please, sit awhile and listen!

Ep. 728 – Dave the Diver

Dave the Diver podcast

Dave the Diver has come ashore on TADPOG. It looked really fun and we all agreed we wanted to buck the Randomizer and play it. Did we like it? Did we really like it? Or maybe just sorta like it? Well, before that we do part 2 of our Marvel draft with villains this time, we talk about the Steam Deck, Baldur’s Gate 3, pickles and a little bit of anime, Ian also makes a serious ASMR confession. There may also be a serious tangent about the loafing Garfield phone, a Sports Illustrated Football phone, and a clear electronics phone from the 90s. If all of that sounds good, please sit awhile and listen!

Ep. 727 – All Calls Marvel Edition

All Calls Marvel Edition! Why is it our Marvel edition? Because prior to taking calls, we do a rather extensive 10 spot draft of Marvel Heroes. We had a very busy work week so we needed something simple to turn around quickly and you know how much we love to do a therapeutic All Calls episode. There is a draft. The are calls from Terrified Michell. There are more calls from Terrified Michelle. Did we mention those calls? There are plenty. We’ll be back next week with a game but if you like Marvel and Michelle, come sit awhile and listen to All Calls Marvel Edition!
