After so many references, so many mini discussions, and so much hype—we now bring you the goods and discuss one of our favorite new games, Hades! We needed to bring a strong show for such a strong game so we brought back Coco of CocoConfession and Cuphead fame to join us in our deep dive. Our love for this game is palpable so we stray from our standard formula for this episode and just have a solid discussion amongst friends about a game we love. Come hang out and we hope you like it!
REANIMATE! We’re taking a break from playing through the games on the NES Classic long enough to talk about Crypt of the NecroDancer with Rhythm Master Paul and Soul Sister Yarn Sorceress Chandra. NecroDancer is what it looks like when a rhythm game meets a roguelike dungeon crawler. We’re talking about the rogue-like adventure game Reigns, for Steam, iOS and Android. Dave’s back from Dragoncon, so there’s some discussion about board games, card games and Japanese arcade games. There might also be a teeny-tiny amount of Pokémon Go talk. We read a few texts from listeners; we create a new NBC sitcom entitled “Floor To Man”; we list a few of our favorite subreddits.
On this episode of TADPOG, four “survival experts” talk about survival tactics (or the video game Don’t Starve by Klei). Regular hosts Dave and Tyler are joined by one-half of “Nosh”, Nicole Nance, and through the bowels of the internet we have summoned Paul Clewell of What’s Paul Playing Today.
On this OSM episode of TADPOG, we set course for destinations unknown. Not really. We just talk about FTL: Faster Than Light. BUT, we’ve got Josh Nance (of Uniracers fame) on this episode, and he’s ratcheting up his energy level to an unprecedented 7.5. We’ve also got Wiley Ammons (of Super Star Wars fame) with us, representing Florida (and outer space).
